1. Who we are

This site (pickmixcandysweden.com) and the Pickmix brand are operated by Pickmix Candy Sweden, a Swedish company registered in Sweden (registered office: Skövdevägen 19, 544 32 Hjo, Sweden). For everything in this policy, “we”, “us” and “Pickmix” mean Pickmix Candy Sweden. You can reach us anytime at hello@pickmixcandysweden.com or +46 73 588 88 28.

2. What we collect

We try to collect as little as we can. In practice that means:

• Order information — name, email, shipping address, phone (where you provide it), order contents, and payment status. Required to fulfill your order.
• Account information — if you create one: email and password (hashed; we never see it in plain text).
• Communication — emails or messages you send us, including any photos you share for support cases.
• Site usage — basic analytics (pages visited, device type, anonymised IP, referrer). Used to understand what's working, not to identify you.
• Marketing — if you sign up for the newsletter, just your email and any preferences you choose.

We do not store full credit card numbers. Payment processing happens on Shopify / Stripe's infrastructure; we only see the last four digits and the card brand.

3. How we use your data

• To process and ship your orders.
• To respond to your messages and resolve support issues.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and (if you opted in) newsletters.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.
• To improve the site and our products (aggregate analytics, not individual tracking).
• To comply with legal obligations (accounting records, tax filings, etc.).

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three things:

• Essential — required to keep your cart, log you in, and process checkout. These can't be turned off.
• Analytics — anonymised usage data so we understand site performance.
• Marketing — only if you opt in. Used to show relevant ads on platforms like Meta or Google.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. The first time you visit, you'll see a cookie banner that lets you accept or customize.

5. Who we share data with

We use trusted third-party services to run the business. None of them sell your data; all are bound by GDPR-compliant data-processing agreements.

• Shopify (Shopify International Ltd, Ireland) — store platform, checkout, order data.
• Stripe / Shopify Payments — payment processing.
• PostNord and partner carriers — shipping; we share name, address, contact phone for delivery.
• Klaviyo or similar — newsletter / transactional email (only if you opt in).
• Google Analytics or similar — anonymised usage analytics.
• Vercel — site hosting.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU, UK, or EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Have your data erased (where we don't have a legal obligation to keep it — e.g. completed orders are kept for 7 years for Swedish tax law).
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Lodge a complaint with the Swedish data-protection authority (IMY, imy.se) if you believe we're doing something wrong.

7. How long we keep data

• Order records: 7 years (Swedish accounting law).
• Account data: until you delete the account.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Support emails: 24 months from last contact.
• Analytics: typically 14–26 months in aggregate form.

8. International transfers

Some of our processors (Shopify, Stripe, hosting) may store or process data outside the EU/EEA. When this happens we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

9. Children

We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, email us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when the policy changes and update the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we'll email anyone with an account.
