Unwrapping…
The little marshmallow cars that outsell everything else in Sweden.
Ahlgrens Bilar have been made since 1953 and have been Sweden's best-selling sweet for most of that time. They are technically marshmallow, but they eat like a dense, slightly chewy cloud — closer to a foam than to anything called marshmallow elsewhere.
The originals are mild and vanilla-ish. Sursockrade adds a sour sugar coating, and Fruktkombi swaps in fruit flavours. Most people who try all three end up loyal to one and slightly offended by the others.
