Squashies Strawberry & Cream is candy from Swizzels. Straightforward in the best way: one clear flavour, done properly, with nothing hiding behind sugar.
It is British, not Swedish — and it has been a fixture in Swedish pick & mix and Christmas bowls for decades, which is a better reason to stock something than where the factory happens to be. Swizzels has been making sweets in Derbyshire for generations.
Keeps well if it gets the chance, which in our experience it rarely does.
