Cloetta is the grandparent of Swedish confectionery, and its best-known products are the ones nobody thinks to describe because everybody already knows them. Kexchoklad is a wafer bar that outsells almost everything else in the country. Polly is a foam-and-chocolate bag that has been on the shelf since 1965.

Cloetta also owns Malaco and Ahlgrens Bilar now, which means a surprising amount of the Swedish candy aisle traces back to one company in Linköping.
