MAOAM - Kastanjer (Kracher) is chewy taffy from MAOAM. You work at these rather than bite through them, which is exactly why they last.
It is German, not Swedish — and it has been a fixture in Swedish pick & mix and Christmas bowls for decades, which is a better reason to stock something than where the factory happens to be. MAOAM is better known for chew than for subtlety.
Fine on its own; better still with a strong coffee, which is how it usually goes here.
